Formed by Deloy Miller in 1967, Miller Petroleum Inc.,
has been a publicly held company since 1997. The company is currently
trading Over the Counter on NASDAQ (Mill). Headquarters are in Huntsville,
Tennessee.
By the 1980s, Miller became the largest oil and gas company in
the southern Appalachian region with eighteen drilling and work
over rigs in service from New York to Alabama. To date, the company
has drilled or serviced over 5,200 wells, or 65% of the total drilled
and serviced in the State of Tennessee. With the experience of such
a large number of drilled and completed wells, Miller has gained
extensive expertise in what it takes to find as well as produce
oil and gas. The company is knowledgeable not only of prospect generation,
correct drilling procedures, completion and stimulation techniques,
but also has quality management with excellent field support. Personnel
have a high degree of integrity and experience that is unparalleled
in the region.
Deloy Miller, Founder, Chairman and CEO, was a pioneer in the highly
successful 1969 drilling boom in the Southern Appalachian Basin.
He is a native of Tennessee and has served two terms as President
of the Tennessee Oil and Gas Association. In 1978 the organization
named him the "Tennessee Oil Man of the Year". Currently,
Mr. Miller has been appointed by the Governor of Tennessee to be
the petroleum industry's representative to the Tennessee Oil and
Gas Board.
Miller Petroleum is a complete oil and gas company that continues
to be a leader in the region, utilizing the latest computer graphics,
seismic and other analytical tools for geological exploration. The
company has over 137,000 files of well data integrated into the
GeoGraphix software system. The data base of logs and well information
is the largest in the region. Miller has a lease inventory in excess
of 50,000 acres and is currently active with more lease acquisitions.
The company's three productive areas are: the Jellico Field that
is selling natural gas through Miller's pipeline and compression
to Delta Natural Gas and Columbia Natural Resources; the Lindsay
Field is selling natural gas through Miller's pipeline to the Powell-Clinch
Utility District and the Koppers Field is selling crude oil to the
Somerset Refinery and natural gas through Delta Producer's pipeline.
Through seismic data and geologic analytical tools, Miller has identified
additional promising areas.
In addition to the geology with analytical information, engineering
and lease inventory, Miller's personnel have the experience and
expertise to take a program from site development to completion
and sales. The company prides itself with the management of drilling
rigs for exploration, work over rigs for completions, company dozers
for site development, roustabout crews and equipment to set pumping
units and tanks as well as lay flow lines, winch trucks and trailers
for traveling support as well as backhoes, ditchers, fusion machines
and welders for pipeline and compression installations. This attribute
keeps jobs on schedule with quality control.

Deloy Miller
Founder, Chairman and CEO, was a pioneer in the highly successful

is a native of Tennessee and has served two terms as President of
the Tennessee Oil and Gas Association. In 1978, the organization
named him the "Tennessee Oil Man of the Year". During
this time he was also featured in Baron's Magazine. Appointed by
the Governor of Tennessee, he is the Petroleum Industry's representative
to the Tennessee Oil and Gas Board.
Dr. Gary Bible
Appointed Vice President of Geology on September 15, 1997. Dr.
Bible earned his B.S. Degree in Geology from Kent State University
and his MSc. and PhD. Degrees in Geology from Iowa State University.
Dr. Bible is a proven hydrocarbon finder who drilled his first successful
wildcat as a Trainee Geologist. Formerly with Phillips Petroleum
Corporation and ALAMCO, Dr. Bible brings to the Company 29 years
experience as a Petroleum Geologist. In addition, Dr. Bible has
spent nine years in the Appalachian Basin in the exploration and
development of reserves in the Big Lime, Devonian Shale and in deeper
horizons. Over the last nine years he has located more than 172
development wells, 90 percent of which were successful. He has discovered
ten new oil and gas fields in Kentucky and Tennessee. He is also
credited with managing a drilling program at ALAMCO that kept its
finding cost the lowest in the nation.
Teresa Cotton
Joined the Miller Team in August, 1996. She was appointed Secretary
/Treasurer on October 1, 2001. Prior to joining the Miller Team,
she was employed by Halliburton Services. Teresa has more than twenty
years experience in the oil and gas industry. Mrs. Cotton, a Tennessee
native, is currently enrolled at Roane State Community College in
Huntsville, pursuing a degree in Accounting.
David Wright
Serves as Land Manager for Miller, with over twenty years of experience
in the oil and gas business. Mr. Wright earned B.S. Degrees in Geography
and Geology from Tennessee Technological University. Prior to joining
Miller Petroleum, Inc., Mr. Wright directed the day to day activities
associated with leasing, management, and exploration of over 50,000
acres in Tennessee and Kentucky for Towner Petroleum. Mr. Wright
is a member of the American Association of Professional Land men
and is a Registered Professional Geologist in the State of Tennessee.
